Redax Enterprise Server product box

Lansdowne, PA -- Appligent Document Solutions www.appligent.com, the leading PDF enterprise software company, today announced the immediate availability of version 3 of its enterprise-class Redax Enterprise Server software for Windows, Linux 32-bit and 64-bit, and Solaris. AIX and HP-UX releases will follow shortly.

Existing users of Redax Enterprise Server include over 10 departments of the US Federal government concentrated in intelligence, military and criminal justice areas as well as national and state governments around the world. Many states and municipal governments use Redax and Redax Enterprise Server everyday to protect the identity or personal information of citizens, while law-firms and corporations use the applications to protect sensitive information.

Redax Enterprise Server 3 is all-new. It's been repowered with the Adobe PDF Library to improve its ability to open and process many damaged or malformed PDF documents.

"But for the big news, let's look at the dramatic new content markup features," said Appligent Document Solutions' CEO Duff Johnson. "Redax Enterprise Server is now capable of virtually any sort of text-search, and uses powerful new preprocessing to improve search accuracy," he said. "The new Pattern searches, which find phone numbers, postal codes, credit-cards and email addresses, are just amazing!" he said.

Redax Enterprise Server 3 now includes:

  • Enhanced preprocessing of PDF contents to locate words and phrases
  • Advanced patterns to mark commonly redacted text such as:
    - social security numbers (SSN)
    - zip and international postal codes
    - US and international phone numbers
    - credit-cards
    - dates
    - URLs
    - email addresses and more
  • Support for Regular Expression searches for maximum search flexibility
  • An all-new redaction engine, the most advanced we've ever developed (and we invented PDF redaction)

Redax Enterprise Server 3 is available immediately from Appligent Document Solutions directly as well as our network of resellers. The software is available without charge to existing Appligent Document Solutions customers with current Support & Maintenance agreements.

* - AIX, HP-UX and Mac OS X releases available soon.
