Appligent has a long history of providing bulletproof enterprise-level solutions to corporations and governments worldwide since its founding as a software consultancy in 1988 by Mark Gavin. In 1991 Virginia Gavin joined the company and lead its transition to offering commercial software applications.
Appligent is privately held and is based in Lansdowne, PA in the Greater Philadelphia region. Our customer list is extensive, and includes many of the Fortune 1000, as well as multinational corporations and government agencies in the U.S. and abroad.

Appligent is first to build a PDF parser to extract document structure information from PDF files to build, search and analysis tools for electronic New Drug Applications to the US FDA.
