Other Features
Creates New File Yes No You must run a SaveAs in Acrobat on the file so that you do not overwrite the original file. Redax automatically creates a new redacted file and keeps the original file as is.
Create New Exemption Codes Yes Yes Redax allows you to create a list of exemption codes. Acrobat allows you to apply custom text to areas
Resize Area For Redaction Yes No Change the size of a box around marked up areas.  
Palettes For Exemption Codes Yes No Redax has palettes for exemption codes that are fully customizable. Applying an exemption code requires only a single click. You can add additional codes for a single redaction area by clicking on the codes.  Acrobat's redaction properties requires at least 4 clicks to set a code, and multiple codes must be entered as custom text.
