Digital Applications, Inc. was the original name of Appligent, Inc. used at the company founding in 1988. The company was founded as a custom software development shop; with a primary focus on Macintosh software development using the Object Pascal, C and C++ programming languages. The company name was changed to Appligent, Inc. in 2001.
