Makeshift PDF Redaction Exposes "Secret" Government Info- Again
The latest incident of improper file redaction involves an outside consultant's controversial report for the DOJ. Rather than using a dedicated software application like Appligent's Redax, a clumsy makeshift method of placing a black image mask over numerous portions of the report was used.

A politically and racially charged report on workforce diversity issues at the Department of Justice that was supposed to conceal the most sensitive information from public disclosure was posted in full on the Internet this week as a result of a technical oversight by DOJ officials.
