AbridgePDF
AbridgePDF is a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat that helps you organize the important information in PDF files by extracting marked-up text and creating a new summary document. This is a useful tool for building indexes and abstracts from collections of documents.
While AbridgePDF is popular with Legal professionals, anyone who works with libraries of PDF documents will find it to be a valuable addition to their toolkit.

Key Features
Low or high-volume processing. Extract information from one or more PDF documents that you open in Acrobat or specify based on file location.
Tool and color-based markup. Mark the text you want to summarize using Acrobat’s highlight, underline, and strikeout tools. Define multiple color settings for each tool to help you categorize your information.
Multiple extraction combinations. Extract markups created with one, two, or all three highlighting tools. For each tool, optionally include or exclude markups according to color.
Sort order control. Define a sort order for the markups you extract using filename, page number, and markup type as the sort criteria.
Choice of display options. Display your results in a table, with columns based on the sort order or another combination that you select. Choose the page size and orientation, margin settings, and font face and size for your output.
Source document links. Link from the output file to the detailed information in your source documents with a click of your mouse button. The fields in the results table are active link
