APSetDocInfo
 Do you need to modify the Document Information section of one or more PDF documents?
ApSetDocInfo edits or adds properties in the Document Information of PDF documents. You can change, or add, the following document information:
Document Information Dictionary Fields
- Title
- Subject
- Author
- Keywords
- Creator
- Producer
- Creation Date
- Modification Date
- Custom Document Information
Page Mode ( Use Thumbs | Use Bookmarks | Full screen )
Layout ( Single | One Column | Two Column Left | Two Column Right )
Open Action ( Fit Page | Fit Width | Fit Height | Fit Bounding Box )
Open to Page Number
Hide Toolbar, Menubar, or Scrollbars
Resize or Center the window on the screen.
Bookmarks: Open All, Close All or Open all bookmarks up to and including a given level.
Remove: Bookmark, Annotations or Form Fields.
 
Modes of Operation
You can run APSetDocInfo in a variety of ways:
Basic operations
The simplest way to run APSetDocInfo is from the command line. Option flags are available to tailor the output.
Automation options
APSetDocInfo can be scripted for multistage processing and used with Appligent’s other products as part of a complete PDF workflow solution.
Optional Web service
Expose the functionality of one or more retrieval
utilities to your entire network with APConductor, a separate Appligent
Web service product. Use it to programmatically pass the function parameters
each utility needs with just one SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol)
call per utility.
All of the retrieval utilities are
compatible with PDF 1.2 and higher.
