On December 9th, 1 PM Eastern time, I'll be conducting a Tech Talk for AcrobatUsers.com on the subject of making PDF files comply with Section 508. The session will be conducted live from Adobe's headquarters in San Jose.
PDF files can comply with Section 508 - it's really not that hard. For most simple documents, it's enough to know the basic rules of the road, master a few key concepts, and you are tagging PDFs with confidence. More complex documents require more advanced skills and a few key clues to working in Adobe Acrobat.
I'm going to talk fast, but the advantage of a webinar is that you get to review it again if there's something you missed the first time.
This session will focus on ensuring that the key concepts of document structure are conveyed. Once we've covered that ground, we'll talk about one thing I hear a lot about: how to set rowspan and colspan in complex tables.
